Women in Technology Scholarships

The Society annually awards up to 15 scholarships valued at $10,000 to recognize women who are excelling in the study of Computer/Data Science, Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics. At least two of these scholarships are dedicated to women of Indigenous ancestry.

What You Should Know

Women in Technology Scholarships and Indigenous Women in Technology Scholarships are awarded annually by the BC Scholarship Society to student who self-identify as women pursuing an undergraduate degree, diploma or certificate in Computer/Data Science, Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics at a BC public post-secondary institution. The Scholarships are valued at $10,000 each.

Applications for the Women in Technology Scholarships and Indigenous Women in Technology Scholarships are now CLOSED. Applications will re-open in 2026.
